Plot Vs Vibes
What do you look for most in a book? Do you love an epic high plot book? Or are vibes more your thing? Before this week I would 100% have said I’m a plot girl through and through. I cannot cope with books where nothing is happening. If there’s a romance and it’s all spice I get so ridiculously bored. But then the past week I was re-reading Gallant by VE Schwab and after chatting about it with my book club, I accepted that this books has very little plot but it is so atmospheric and the vibes are immaculate so I realised that sometimes vibes are definitely enough for me. So here are three of my favourite plot focused books and 3 of my favourite ‘vibes’ books.
