2026 Reading Goals / Challenges

I’ve decided to really strip back on my challenges this year. Every year, I seem to have a million different challenges that I am trying to do. So this year, I’ve stripped it back to 3 other challenges in addition to my general ‘how many books’ challenge.

Challenge 1: Read 52 Books in 2026

I tend to put my overall reading challenge as a low number (f0r me). I read 83 in 2025 but one book a month is very manageable for me, so I like to just keep it as 52 each year.

Challenge 2: Read 12 Books Recommended by 12 Friends

Challenge 3: Series Catch Up Challenge

Rather than focusing on all of the series I have unfinished, I am focusing on the ones I have only one book left to read.

Challenge 4: ARC Catch Up Challenge

These are the books I received as ARCs prior to 2026 but never got to them. I am hoping to just made a dent in some of them.
