- RF Kuang has been on my TBR for about a year or so. I have quite a few of hers on my shelf, including The Poppy War, Yellowface and Babel. I think I’ll probably be more likely to read The Poppy War with it being the most fantasy type book but I’m really hoping to read at least one of her books this year.
- I’m actually a little disappointed in myself that I have read a Christopher Paolini book yet. As a big dragon book enthusiast, I’m shocking for having not read Eragon yet. But I do have the first three books on my shelf and am determined to read it this year.
- Lucy Vine is an author I’ve only recently become accustomed to. I met her at a signing with Lindsey Kelk and Paige Toon, two of my favourite romance authors, so naturally I bought her book. It sounds so great and she has a new one coming out very soon too.
- NK Jemisin is an author that’s been on my radar for a while, but after my good friend Kim read this book it just cemented it as a must-read.
- And last, but definitely not least is Brandon Sanderson… honestly I’m embarrassed that someone who reads fantasy as much as I do hasn’t read anything by him. I have two of his series sat on my shelf and I am determined to try at least one. Let me know which one I should pick if you’re read anything by him.
