If You Liked This… Try This #1
I’ve seen so many blogs do posts that recommend books based off others, and I have always wanted to get involved but could never think of any good recommendations. I’m finally going to try my hand at this, and include one post like this per month… and I was inspired by an ARC I have just finished.
If You Liked… Try…
I have just finished an ARC of the incredible The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna, and I was just completely in awe of this amazing book. Right from the start, not only was I brought out of my reading slump but I was thrown into the same sort of feelings I felt when I read The House in the Cerulean Sea earlier in the year.
This book is seriously uplifting and is one of the best books to make you feel like you’re just receiving a big warm hug. If you enjoyed The House in the Cerulean Sea and you’re looking for something that will give you those same warm vibes, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches must be on your TBR! Here’s some reasons why I think these books are similar:
- Adult main protagonist
- Found family
- Grumpy v Sunshine Trope
- Hilarious children
- LGBTQ+ Representation
- Amazing Side Characters
Honestly… just trust me! It’s the absolute best!! If you would like to know more about both of these books, you can check out my spoiler free review of The House in the Cerulean Sea HERE and my spoiler free review of The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches will be posted within the next week.
Let me know if you’ve read either of these, or if you want to read any of these.
