From Goodreads:
My name is Ryan Sheppard and I don’t care about Christmas. I’m only returning to my over-the-top Christmas-themed hometown to sell the house I inherited from my late uncle so I can get back to the city and the promotion I’m chasing at work.

Unfortunately, there’s a flaw in my plan.

Because according to the town Christmas cop, there’s a moratorium on selling houses during December. She says it’s bad for the aesthetic. She’s also slapping an alarming number of tickets on my front door. For being in violation of holiday décor. And I swear on Rudolph himself, one is for ‘unsportsmanlike Christmassing.’

To top it all off, this Christmas cop looks like a red-headed elf.

A sexy red-headed elf…

Last year, I fell head over heels in love with the town of Reindeer Falls by reading the first three novellas (the only ones that were out at the time) in this series. I was so excited to see that there were three new novellas in the series releasing this year and they went straight to the top of my holiday reading list.

Elves with Benefits is another super cute romance filled to the brim with Christmas spirit. What happens when someone who doesn’t even decorate his house for Christmas falls for the Christmas Elf herself? Well… sparks fly, that’s for sure.

Jana Aston once again filles the season with amazing romance, with a dash of spice. I really enjoyed this one. It wasn’t my favourite, I felt like I connected to the characters in the previous novellas more, but I still really liked this one and I highly recommend them for quick holiday binge-reading.

From Goodreads:
My name is Jake Sheppard and I’m ambivalent about Christmas and the Christmas-themed town I grew up in. But when I find out my late uncle left me an old barn and acres of land, the decision to return home to build my dream golf course is an easy one.

Imagine my surprise when I arrive and find out I have a squatter.

An incredibly sexy squatter, with wavy blonde hair, green eyes, a free spirit… and a herd of goats.

Sutton hates my guts. Apparently evicting a non-paying non-tenant and her goats weeks before Christmas is grounds for war.

Except Sutton’s version of war includes flinging her clothing at me and, as it turns out, I might be in way over my head with this girl…

One Night with a Nutcracker is the fifth novella in the magical Reindeer Falls series, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of it. I was slightly disappointed in the previous novella as I just didn’t feel like I got that emotional connection with the characters I’m always looking for. I am happy to say that wasn’t the case with this one. I absolutely loved Sutton and Jake.

From Sutton’s quirky goat farm to Jake’s desire to knock it down to build a golf course, I loved seeing their journey and how their feelings for each other changed everything. I loved this fun enemies-to-fuckbuddies-to-lovers storyline. It was just funny, adorable and everything you want for a awesome quick read. I can’t wait to dive into the final novella.

From Goodreads:
My name is Carter Sheppard and I actually like Christmas and my Christmas-themed hometown of Reindeer Falls. In fact, when I learn I have to return home in order to collect an inheritance—my uncle’s dog—it puts life into perspective for me.

Sure, playing professional baseball is great. But it won’t last forever and every player needs a long-term game plan.

And I just found mine. Wrapped up in the feisty, bespectacled package of the town librarian.

Unfortunately, she thinks I’m a player in all aspects of the word, but I’ve got a plan to win her over. Starting with a fake engagement…

After finishing One Night with a Nutcracker, I couldn’t wait to dive in to the final Reindeer Falls novella. The Bachelor on the Shelf was definitely my favourite of the three novellas in this second volume. That may or may not have to do with the fact that there was a dog in this one.

Anyone who knows me knows just how much of a dog lover I am. My dog, Roxy, is my child and I spoil her rotten. So this cute Hallmark-type romance where they are brought together over a dog is right up my street. I am all about that!! Add to that the fact that our lead male is a reader but enjoys YA Fantasy… well… where can I find one?

I loved every moment of this novella. It is 100% my favourite of the six novellas to date and is definite a must re-read for me. I can’t wait to read these all over again next Christmas!
