My Favourite Things: Gods and Goddesses
This month on ‘My Favourite Things’ I am talking all things Gods and Goddesses. I am a huuuuuge mythology lover so any book that is mythology based is a big yes from me… if they include any Gods and Goddesses it’s a must-read for me, so it made perfect sense for me to include them on my favourite things posts.
Favourite God/Goddess Books
Half-Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout is a YA Paranormal series about the descendants of Greek Gods. It’s such an awesome fun series, that definitely gets more emotional and dramatic as you go on. In the later books we see some actual Greek Gods come down from Olympus to kick ass. If you love this there is also a NA spin off which also includes some of the Titans.

Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep is a YA Paranormal series also about descendants of Greek Gods. In this one there are lots of mythical artifacts that the story surrounds which is super awesome. I absolutely loved this series.

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter is a YA paranormal series that is a retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth. It’s very modern day and I loved it. The Hades/Persephone myth is one of my favourites so I absolutely loved this trilogy.

Oh My Gods by Alexandra Sheppard is a YA comedy involving Greek Gods. The main character is half mortal, half god and is living with her family who are all Greek Gods and she has to try and keep them secret so as not to ruin her normal high school life. I loved this one. It’s so light hearted and hilarious.

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout is a Adult high fantasy series. It’s a little different to the others on this list as it isn’t based on mythology but rather there’s some fictional Gods and Goddesses in this one. Most of them are loosely based on real mythology though and that’s what made me add it to this list.
