Favourite Bookish Merchandise
If you’re anything like me, you absolutely love some bookish merchandise. I love collecting little bookish trinkets almost as much as I love collecting books. It all started when I started subscribing to bookish boxes and getting the items in those that I started loving it and buying it lots… besides… it’s amazing for backgrounds for bookstagram pictures. Today I’m going to share with you my favourite types of bookish merch, including my favourite etsy shops that you can buy them from!
Bookish Candles
I am absolutely and completely obsessed with bookish candles. I just adore them. I love burning them while I’m reading and if they match the series I’m currently reading… even better! My absolute favourite candle store is Bookworm Candles and Crafts. You can find her on Instagram and Etsy.
I’ve had some amazing bookish candles from Bookworm Candles and Crafts. From Sarah J Maas to Jennifer L Armentrout and lots of others in between. Check some of her amazing candles out below… these are pictures of some from my own collection, they may or may not still be available.
Book Sleeves / Book Beau
One of my other favourite bookish merchandise to collect are book sleeves. I honestly have way, way too many. More than I ever could have need for. But I just love them, the fabric is adorable and they fit my beautiful books in and protect them if I need to take them with me on the go. My favourite book sleeve store is BookBestiesUK. She does such a diverse range of sleeves. From fanart of characters to Disney related fabrics, she does it all! You can find her on Instagram and Etsy.
Here’s a couple of my Book Besties that I’ve collected over the years.
Bookish Pop Figures
This is a more recent trend that I’ve seen in the past year or so. People selling Funko Pop figures that have been painted to look like our favourite bookish characters. I actually don’t own any so far, but I do have my first few on their way. I have a few Harry Potter ones, but they don’t count as they are official ones based off the movies. I absolutely love that this is a growing trend and I can’t wait to build a collection of bookish Pops. My one issue with these is that they can, understandably, be quite expensive. However, I have just ordered two from one of my favourite series that were reasonably priced and look amazing. They are from A Throne of Books and I cannot wait to get them. You can follow A Throne of Books on Instagram and see her stuff on Etsy.
Here’s some pictures of some super cute Pops she has done. Please note that I do not own these images, they have come from her Etsy store which you can find at the link above.
Apparel
I love nothing more than a good bookish shirt so I can show off my inner nerd in my day-to-day life. Usually when I read an amazing book I always want my favourite quote on a shirt or something that I can wear. It’s hard to pin point this to my absolute favourite shop for bookish apparel as I love so many. One of my favourite places to get some is the JLA Shop, which is Jen Armentrout’s own shop where she sells all sorts of merchandise for her books. Another one that I came across only recently is Wit and Glitter Co on Etsy. She has so many amazing bookish shirts. The one I’ve bought is ‘Train Like a Valkyrie’ from Sarah J Maas’ A Court of Silver Flames and it’s gorgeous. I’m unsure whether there is an instagram for this one but you can find them on Etsy here.
Here’s some images from Wit and Glitter Co’s Etsy store, please keep in mind I do not own these images. They are screen shots from the Etsy store that you can find linked above.
