Two competing meteorologists are forced to find common ground in this opposites attract, When Harry Met Sally inspired romance, from New York Times bestselling author B.K. Borison.

Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have had their fair share of run-ins over the years, often ending in disaster. While Jackson thrives on routine and organization from the comfort of his radio booth, Delilah loves the spontaneity and adventure out in the field. When they’re partnered against their will to cover the snowstorm of the century, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.

Eager to be taken seriously as a journalist, Delilah offers Jackson a deal. If he can help her ace this assignment, she’ll help him rediscover his long-lost fun side. With an undiscovered chemistry burning beneath their clashes, the unlikely partnership quickly tumbles into an easy and surprising friendship.

But when other feelings start to enter the equation, can Jackson and Delilah withstand the storm? Or does what happens in the mountains, stay in the mountains?

“I think somewhere along the way, I got so settled in my routines and habits and plans that now I’m trapped by them. They twist around me like vines holding me in place. Keeping me from moving forward.”

Contemporary Romance is often not my chosen genre. I’m definitely more of a Fantasy / Sci-fi / Thriller kind of girl, however I do enjoy a good romance as a palate cleanser now and then. After reading and loving First Time Caller, the first book in the Heartstrings series just last month I couldn’t wait to dive into the second book. I am so glad I read this as this was just a pure delight to read.

And Now, Back To You follows the story of two rival meteorologists, one reporting on the weather via radio and one via TV. When a freak storm is due to hit Baltimore Jackson and Delilah’s bosses think this would be the perfect opportunity for them to report on it together. So moving to a old town just outside of Baltimore to report on the storm, Jackson and Delilah are thrown together.

I really enjoyed every moment of this book. It was super cute and just a nice and easy read that you find yourself getting lost in. Despite me having no interest in the weather whatsoever, I ended up really enjoying Jackson’s little nerdy weather rants. It just made him so endearing as a character. Jackson was such a great character to follow throughout this story. He is a super nerdy, super organised individual who lives his life by lists and schedules. I just loved when he ran into (literally) the fun loving, whirlwind that is Delilah. She storms into his life and turns everything upside down and I just loved seeing him try to handle that.

One thing I loved about this book was that it wasn’t just about the romance between Jackson and Delilah, it was also about how they could help the other with their issues going on in their life. Delilah ends up helping Jackson through his major anxiety and issues surrounding his family, and Jackson ends up helping Delilah with the issues with her horrific boss. I loved how each of them, even before they romantically connected, ended up helping the other with real issues that were affecting them.

My one little gripe about And Now, Back To You is that it was a little slow going at the start. I remember being a good 30/40% into the book and there was a lot of talk about this storm coming and I just felt a bit like…. okay so can we get there already please? It just felt like it took a while to get going and I didn’t feel like that with First Time Caller. So for that reason I did enjoy First Time Caller just that little bit more.

Overall, I really enjoyed every moment of this book. It was cute, romantic and funny. BK Borison is a definitely must-read author for me, and one that I will definitely be working my way through her backlist. This was a great read and one I would definitely recommend.
