Control the Past.
Save the Future.

One morning, Dr. Sam Anderson wakes up to discover that the woman he loves has been murdered. For Sam, the horror is only beginning. He and his daughter are accused of the crime. The evidence is ironclad. They will be convicted. And so, Sam does what he must: he confesses to the crime.

But in the future, murderers aren’t sent to prison. They’re sent to the past. Two hundred million years into the past—to the age of the dinosaurs—to live out their lives alone, in exile from the human race. Sam accepts his fate. But his daughter doesn’t.

Adeline Anderson has already lost her mother to a deadly and unfair disease. She can’t bear to lose her father. She sets out on a quest to prove him innocent. And get him back. People around her insist that both are impossible tasks. But Adeline doesn’t give up. She only works harder. She soon learns that impossible tasks are her specialty. And that she is made of tougher stuff that she ever imagined.

As she peels back the layers of the mystery that ripped her father from this world, Adeline finds more questions than answers. Everyone around her is hiding a secret. But which ones are connected to the murder that exiled her father? That mystery stretches across the past, present, and future–and leads to a revelation that will change everything.

Lost in Time is not my typical type of read. I am much more of a fantasy and romance reader than a hard core, time travel, sci-fi reader. But there was just something about the blurb of this one that really gripped me, and I just couldn’t resist the offer to read and review this one for the blog tour. I am so very glad that I did… this book is absolutely fantastic! I loved each and every moment.

Lost in Time has a rather unusual premise but I was absolutely hooked and obsessed with this book from page one. This mystery where murderers and serial killers go into the elusive time machine and are sent to the Triassic Era… it was just a brilliantly thought of plot and I truly loved it. As someone who adores anything relating to dinosaurs, I just loved this concept and the more I read of this book the more I was obsessed with it.

This book truly blew me mind. I am usually someone who guesses almost every twist… I did not guess a single one in this book. I was constantly amazed and mindblown at the twists. And there were a lot! I couldn’t believe what was happening and at multiple points was saying to myself ‘what the hell is happening?!’ and I freaking loved that! It just made me love the book all the more. I was consistently gasping and sitting there with my mouth agape unable to believe what was happening. It was truly brilliant.

Lost in Time has everything! Mystery! Time Travel! Action and danger! I seriously cannot praise this book enough. I truly loved every single moment of it. I really loved that the main focus and heart of this book was the familial relationships. I read so much romance, that I really feel like familial love is something missing from a lot of the books that I read. I truly loved every single second of this fantastic, time travel and twisty book. I think everyone should read it. You will not be disappointed.
