2020 Releases Still On My TBR
2020 has been such an amazing year for book releases. There were so many that I couldn’t wait for and were on my radar to get immediately… and unfortunately some of those pretties are still sat on my shelves waiting to be read.
Here are 5 books that I couldn’t wait for but I still haven’t picked up:
The Damned by Renee Ahdieh was one of my most anticipated 2020 releases. I’ve been a huge Renee fan for a few years now and I absolutely loved The Beautiful when it released last year. I was so excited to have a YA Vampire book that was a little bit different than the typical vampire romances that were all the rage in the era of Twilight. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the sequel. I mean look at how gorgeous that cover is. I don’t even know why I haven’t read it yet. I need to pick it up soon.
Crave by Tracy Wolff was one that as soon as I heard about it I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. There’s not been many YA Vampire books in quite a few years so I’m excited to see a new one in the book stores again. I bought this one as soon as it released and it’s still sat unread. Book 2 had just released so maybe it is time to pick this one up now.
Chosen Ones by Veronica Roth is one that I was really intrigued about. I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of Veronica Roth. I loved Divergent, I thought Insurgent was okay… I didn’t bother with Allegient after seeing spoilers of what happened. However, this storyline sounds like something I would love and I’m really intrigued to see her first dip into Adult fiction. I can’t wait to pick this one up.
Bone Crier’s Moon by Katheryn Purdie is one I got in a Fairyloot box. I just love the cover, it’s so beautiful! This book sounds creepy and romantic… exactly the kind of thing that I like. I’ve just seen the cover of book 2 which is equally as beautiful si I can’t wait to finally dive into this one.
Incendiary by Zoraida Cordova is another one I got from Fairyloot and I can’t wait to read this one. As someone who loves YA fantasy, this one has magic, a kingdom and rebels… what more could I possibly want in a book? I’m hoping I’ll be able to squeeze this one in very soon.
