The Christmasaurus is back! Get ready to soar into the sky with the magical new festive adventure from number-one bestselling author, Tom Fletcher!

William Trundle and his family can’t wait for Christmas. But when powerful magic brings a mysterious old copy of A Christmas Carol to life, and Ebenezer Scrooge himself emerges from its pages, Christmas is suddenly in grave danger.

Can William, Santa and the most unique and magical dinosaur of all – the Christmasaurus! – find a way to return Scrooge to the book and save Christmas, before it’s too late?

I’m such a big fan of The Christmasaurus books. I re-read the musical edition of book 1 of this series every single year in December, and it was only when I was half way through my annual re-read (or re-listen if you will) that I discovered that a fourth book in the series had released in 2023. Naturally, as soon as my re-read was done I dived into A Christmasaurus Carol and I absolutely loved it.

A Christmas Carol is my favourite Christmas book of all time, and one I re-read on Christmas Eve every year so to see that this Christmasaurus book pays homage to A Christmas Carol has automatically made this one of my favourites of the series. It follows the idea that Ebeneezer Scrooge has escaped from a magical copy of A Christmas Carol and so William, Brenda, Santa and The Christmasaurus need to work together to stop Scrooge from cancelling Christmas forever.

This was such a fun read. I personally listened to the audiobook of this one and it was fantastic. The narrator just does such a fantastic job of bringing the story and the characters to life. If you’re interested in these books for yourself, or your children, I highly recommend listening to the audiobooks together. They’re truly fantastic.

A Christmasaurus Carol was fun, fast paced and filled to the brim with festive cheer. I really enjoyed every moment of it, and highly recommend the entire series.
