Do You Enjoy Readalongs?
Do you enjoy readalongs with other readers and the author? Usually I don’t, as I love reading books at my own pace. However, I have been re-reading the Blood and Ash books by Jennifer L Armentrout where there has been a few weeks to read each book and a Zoom chat with Jen herself after each book… and I have absolutely loved doing it.
So I am here to tell you about another readalong happening on Instagram that I am going to be taking part in. I am going to update my thoughts of the book here on the blog as we go along with it. Which book and author is it you ask?
I am super excited to be joining this readalong as it will be my first Rebecca Ross book! One of my closest book friends is such a huge fan of Rebecca’s and has been recommending her books to me for years. Finally, I am going to pick one up. Rebecca Ross will also be doing some Instagram Live’s each week and I am so excited that they will be at 2pm EST, which makes it 7pm in the UK. I can’t believe there is one that is appropriate for UK-ers. YAY.
The readalong is taking place over three weeks, so I will be updating my thoughts each week here on the blog and on Instagram. You can find all the information over on Rebecca’s Instagram account HERE but if you’re lazy and don’t want to click any links here is the breakdown over the three weeks.
- Week 1: November 12th to November 19th – Chapters 1-9
- Week 2: November 19th to November 26th – Chapters 10-17
- Week 3: November 26th to December 3rd – Chapters 18-28
