Completed Trilogies I Still Haven’t Started
Trilogies are my favourite form of series. I have always had a soft spot for trilogies. Duologies I am always left wanting more… series over 3 books I feel are often drawn out and I lose interest so for me trilogies are the perfect medium. Here are five trilogies that are completed, on my shelf but for some reason I just haven’t started.
- The Kingmaker Chronicles by Amanda Bouchet
- Adult – Epic Fantasy
- I haven’t actually heard all that much about this series but people have said if you like JLA (which we all know of course I do) then you’ll love this series, so I am determined to give this one a try.
- Serpent and Dove Trilogy by Shelby Mahurin
- YA – Fantasy
- A romance between witch and witch hunter… this sounds like something I would absolutely love. I don’t know why I haven’t started this one yet.
- Starcrossed Trilogy by Josephine Angelini
- YA – Paranormal Romance
- I don’t know if I’m cheating by adding this one as Josephine Angelini is writing a fourth instalment but this one has been on my shelf for about 10 years so I felt it deserved a mention. Greek mythology based? Say no more… I need to read this.
- The Extinction Trials by SM Wilson
- YA – Dystopia
- A dystopia series with dinosaurs? Of course this is on my TBR. This sounds like the perfect series for me. I adore dystopia and I adore dinosaurs.
- Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
- YA – Sci-fi
- This is another one that has been on my shelf for around 10 years. I can’t even explain why I haven’t read this one yet other than I just never got around to it.
Maybe 2022 will be the year when I finally start these series.

I cannot make myself read Serpent and Dove because …. snake on the cover. I know, get over it. But the rest of them, yes, need to read, time, time, time

I have a ton of completed trilogies on my shelf. I will be super interested in the first one, and then never get around to it and then continue picking up the rest in hopes it will persuade me to start the series. And they they just sit there. 😀 But one recently completed trilogy that I want to get around to is The Aurora Cycle.
