5 Favourite Books I Discovered Through Netgalley
As part of my Netgalley November month I’ve been thinking back on all of the books I have been lucky enough to get to review through Netgalley. I have been a blogger and reviewer using Netgalley since 2011 and have read hundreds of books through this platform. Here are five that I probably wouldn’t have picked up without Netgalley… and they ended up being some of my favourites.
Alienated by Melissa Landers is the first book in a YA Sci-fi series. I wasn’t really into alien books before reading this one but after loving the cover and getting it on Netgalley, I fell in love with this cute and adorable extraterrestrial romance. I’m so glad I picked this one up.
Fireblood by Trisha Wolfe is a gorgeous stand-alone YA Fantasy and I love everything about it. I’m a little sad it wasn’t turned into a series because I adored everything about it. I highly recommend this book to everyone, and without Netgalley, I probably wouldn’t have picked it up.
Frozen by Michael Johnstone and Melissa de la Cruz is a YA dystopia series that I definitely wouldn’t have picked up without Netgalley. I had read Melissa’s Blue Bloods series and wasn’t really a big fan of it. But I saw this super cute dragon on the cover and requested it… and it is one of the best YA dystopia series I have ever read.
How Do You Like Me Now? by Holly Bourne was Holly’s first Adult Contemporary novel. I had read and loved her YA books, and couldn’t wait to try her adult books. I got this one early from Netgalley and I fell head over heels in this raw and real look into living in your 30s. I loved it!
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa is the first book in a YA vampire dystopia series and I absolutely adore this creepy vampire inspired series. I probably still would have picked this one up because I loved Julie’s The Iron Fey series. I was so excited when I got to read this one early thanks to Netgalley.
What are some books you’ve discovered through Netgalley/ARCs.

I just started back with NetGalley (I started in 2014, who knew!) and I’ve been reading romances and mysteries. I’m really out of my wheelhouse a lot this year but I’m not going to say boo.
