Introducing Netgalley November

I am so excited to be reviving my month-long challenge, Netgalley November. I used to host this every year, years and years ago with the amazing Blue from Bookish Blue (formerly known as A Daydreamer’s Thoughts). I loved hosting this, but after getting into a major book slump caused by accepting too many arcs, I didn’t read arcs for a couple of years. Now I’m back accepting arcs, and I still have the issue of not having any restraint when clicking that request button.
Netgalley November is a no-stress, month-long challenge where you can set you very own goal for how many Netgalley/Edelweiss books you want to read. Yes, I’m including Edelweiss books in this too… but Edelweiss November just doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it?
For me, my response percentage on Netgalley is terrible. I think it’s just over 50% and I’d love to get it higher before the end of the year, so for me I am going to have the entire month where I only read Netgalley books. If you like a little bit more of a challenge there are different levels you can challenge yourself to below. I’m going to be aiming for Level 2.
Choose A Level
Level 1: Read 1 – 4 Netgalley books
Level 2: Read 5 – 8 Netgalley books
Level 3: Read 9+ Netgalley books
Here are some wonderful graphics made by the amazing Raquel Herrera that you can use on Instagram. I will be posting my updates mostly on Instagram and Twitter so don’t forget to follow me over there. The links are on my side bar to the right of the screen (or at the bottom of the page if you are reading this on your phone). I would love if you tag me on instagram @kbooks12 if you’re getting involved so I can see your progress and the awesome books you are reading.
Look out for a post next week, where I will be sharing with you the books I am intending to read as part of this challenge. Let’s do this… and raise that response percentage before the end of the year where we will no doubt be requesting even more.
These templates will be saved on my instagram through story highlights. I can’t wait to see what you all read.
