~ My Review ~
“All that I am. All that I have. It’s yours. I’m yours.”
There are no words to explain just how excited I was to get my hands on The Queen. I’ve been a huge Jennifer L Armentrout fan for almost a decade now and this series of novellas has quickly become a favourite of mine. I actually loved these novellas way more than the original Wicked trilogy and I couldn’t wait to see how everything ended for Caden and Brighton.
The Queen picked up right where The King ended… with the revelation that Brighton was pregnant. Right from the start of this novella I couldn’t put it down. I was so enamoured with this series once again and I couldn’t read fast enough. At times I really wanted to shake Brighton and make her tell Caden the truth but then I could totally understand why she was doing what she was doing. Brighton has fast become one of my favourite JLA heroines of all time. She is so strong and kick-ass in both a physical and emotional sense and I absolutely adored that about her.
The Queen was everything I could have wanted and more. It was fast-paced, action packed and filled to the brim with swooon-worthy romance. I loved every single second of The Queen and it was the perfect ending to Caden and Brighton’s story. Internally I am praying that Jen will decide to write some more in this world as I feel like there is so much there that could be expanded. I love this fae-filled world and I really can’t get enough. I can’t wait to re-read all of the novella’s together as one full-length story. The Queen was perfect and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
“You hold a part of my soul, Brighton. You are my everything. Nothing will change that. Ever.”
