The Zombies Are Coming… October is Zombie-FEST

Yes you heard that right. Here on K-Books October is ZOMBIE MONTH!
I really wanted to do something special all month dedicated to something creepy for Halloween. Well what’s creepier than zombies?!? I have a crazy obsession with zombie books and have so many to read that I just had to have a zombie month.

A huge thank you to Tara at Taters Tall Tales for making me this crazy awesome banner.

So… your asking what can we look forward to in zombie month?
Well every Friday of October there will be a special zombie post. No I’m not going to tell you what it’s about you’ll just have to wait and see.

In October I am going to try and read as many of my zombie books as I can and get them reviewed here for zombie books. Yes there’ll be (hopefully) lots of Zombie book reviews this month. Wanna know what’s coming up?
Of course you do. Well here are some of my Zombie TBR books

These are some of the zombie books on my shelf that I am hoping to read and review as part of Zombie month.

Now… there will be quite a few giveaways during zombie month. Some of you may have noticed that I have surpassed 600 followers. I was planning a 600 follower giveaway BUT decided not to go ahead with that and instead put all the funding into a number of giveaway throughout zombie month.

The Zombie Kick-off Giveaway

On Saturday I received the most amazing ARC. What book you ask?
It was the phenomenal Touch of Death, the first in the Touch of Death series by Kelly Hashaway. Touch of Death is an incredible start to a series that fuses mythology and zombies perfectly. I completely fell in love with this book. I read the entire thing in one sitting and just couldn’t put it down.

Nothing I say can ever really express how much I love this book. I read it in one sitting and already I am dying to re-read it. I absolutely adored this book and Kelly is such a phenomenal writer. I am left wanting more and I cannot wait until I can get my hands on the second book. This is a series that you definitely do not want to miss out on. If you love zombie book this is a must-read for you. If you don’t read zombie book this is perfect for you as it’s not heavy on the zombies and a great book to introduce you into the zombie genre.

Now I am giving away not one but TWO pre-orders of this phenomenal book!

I've read books with zombies in them, but I wouldn't say they're zombie books. Touch of Death seems really amazing and I can't wait to read it!

I love zombie books–haven't read too many yet, but I've seen just about every zombie movie ever made, lol. I loved Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. I thought it was such a cool idea to turn that classic into a zombie fest, and it was really well written, and the zombie parts of it were integrated well into the original story. šŸ˜€
