While thinking about some of the sequels I can’t wait to read earlier this week, it made me think about the series endings I loved. It’s such a difficult thing, to finish a well loved series, and make the whole journey feel absolutely worth it. I’m currently in the middle of reading an ARC of The Tapestry of Fate by Shannon Chakraborty, which is the long awaited sequel to The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi. I don’t know about you, but 2025 was a bit of a ‘meh’ year reading wise. As a primarily fantasy/romantasy reader, I felt like so many books became very ‘same-y’ and while the books were enjoyable, there were very few standout reads for me.
