Waiting On Wednesday

Hey guys,
I haven’t done a WoW post for quite a while but I’m trying to get back into it…

This week’s pick…

White Hot Kiss (Dark Elements #1)
Jennifer L Armentrout
Published By: Harlequin Teen
Publication Date: February 27, 2014
Genre: YA – Paranormal

From Goodreads:
One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she’s anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she’s crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she’s not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn’t an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she’s the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world

I’m pretty sure everyone on earth now knows that Jennifer L Armentrout is just like my hero. I absolutely adore her and have read all of her books multiple times. I adore her! So it’s fair to say I am freaking psyched about this book. I mean I am literally dying to get my hands on it as I know it is just going to be epically awesome! This is definitely one of my most anticipated reads of next year and I am counting down the days until it releases.

I’m not an emormous fan of the cover. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful and gorgeous but I wanted something a little more… different. Something a bit darker and more unique with the book being about gargoyles but I cannot wait to get my hands on this book.

What do you think?
Are you excited for this one?
