Witchy Season Recommendations: The Language of Magic Series

I am such a huge fan of witchy series, and The Language of Magic series by Cari Thomas is such an underrated one in my opinion. I remember seeing Threadneedle on Instagram but since then, I just haven’t seen it around very much. And as one of my all time favourite witchy series, I am on a mission to promote this fantastic series before the next book comes out.

The Premise

Threadneedle follows the story of Anna. Anna lives with her strict Aunt, and she has always warned her of the dangers of magic. It’s fierce and tempting and deadly. Anna is counting down the days until she is old enough to join the binders coven. A group of witches who are against magic, and bind their magic. But as she nears her birthday she meets Effie and Attis. Two fellow witches… ones who use their magic without fear, and Anna is suddenly exposed to a magical underbelly of London filled with magical folk who are not scared of their power, they relish in it. It’s the first time that she experiences this, and soon she finds herself second guessing everything that she has ever been taught about her magic. Threadneedle is also filled to the brim with twists and family secrets, and a young group of magical girls who need each other more than they know.
