2025 Challenges Update: End of July

July wasn’t a slow reading month for me, but I didn’t read very many from challenges. I was purposefully working on catching up on some ARCs, and these were 2025 ARCs, so not from the backlog. So I don’t think I’ve made much progress on any of these challenges but I thought I would still post, so you can see my overall progress.

Challenge 1: Finish A Series

At the end of June I had finished 3 series and made progress on 4 series. In July, I read one book for this challenge and it was actually the final book of a series, meaning I have finished another series.

Challenge 2 (previously challenge 3): Read 12 Books Recommended by 12 Friends

At the end of June I had read 4 of the 12 books for this challenge. As I was focusing on 2025 ARCs this month, I have not finished any further books for this challenge. I am however, hoping to make some progress on this in August.

Challenge 3 (previously challenge 4): ARC Catch Up

At the end of June, I had read 3 books from this challenge. While I did read some ARCs this month they were all 2025 ARCs and so do not count for this challenge. This particular challenge is for backlog titles. I am hoping to make more progress on this in August as I am almost completely caught up on my 2025 ARCs and so ARC August will be dedicated to some backlist titles.
