Throne of Glass Readalong
Sarah J Maas has been a favourite author of mine for around 10 years. I remember discovering her back in 2012 when Bloomsbury sent me an ARC of Throne of Glass. At the time I wasn’t a big fantasy reader, and I purely read it because they claimed that it was based off a Cinderella type story. I fell head over heels in love with it, and it is 100% the reason that I fell in love with Fantasy as a genre. When discussing the series with a friend who had started reading it recently, I realised I had forgotten a lot of details from this series. Throne of Glass is absolutely my favourite Sarah J Maas series and so along with my good friend Lou who has only read the first 2 books and wants to continued we decided to do a readalong… or for me a re-readalong for the entire series.
We are intending to read one book per month for the rest of this year. There is a potential for a ZOOM chat or an Instagram live chat about the books if people would like to do/see that. I would love to join, but like I mentioned on Twitter, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it for May. Like your friend, I have read the first 2 books but I prefer rereading them before continuing, so this is a great excuse, but not sure. We’ll see how it goes. I hope you have fun with your readalong!
