Retellings Still On My TBR

My TBR is never ending. I’m working really hard to bring it down and I currently have it below 400… which is lower than it has been for years. I decided to stay with my theme of retellings, and after sharing with you last week some of my all time favourite retellings… here are some that are still on that elusive TBR.

Circe by Madeline Miller is an Adult retelling of some of the Greek Myths and I am so excited for it. I am such a huge lover of Greek Mythology so I know I am going to love this one.

Gilded by Marissa Meyer is a Young Adult retelling of Rumplestiltskin. I adore Marissa Meyer and I love the Rumplestiltskin story so I am super super excited to dive into this one soon.

Romanov by Nadine Brandes is a Young Adult retelling of Anastasia. Anastasia is one of my all time favourite stories, and it was my favourite movie as a kid. Add to this the fact that I absolutely loved Nadine’s Guy Fawkes retelling, I can’t wait to read this one.

Entwined by Heather Dixon is a Young Adult retelling of Twelve Dancing Princesses. I honestly can’t remember much about this fairytale but I love finding a retelling of a ‘different’ fairytale, so I’m really looking forward to this one.

And finally, Little Thieves by Margaret Owen is a Young Adult retelling of Goose Girl. Much like Entwined, I’m not overly familiar with Goose Girl but I love that we are getting some retellings of some ‘other’ fairytales so I can’t wait to read this one.
