Favourite Authors That Should Be On Everyone’s TBR

We all have our favourite authors. The ones we will recommend to everyone! Ones that we will pick up every book they write, regardless of what it is. For me, I have many! I’m going to share with you six of my all time favourites that I think everyone should read.

It is no surprise to anyone that the incredible Jennifer L Armentrout is on this list. I have been one of Jen’s biggest fans ever since her debut in 2011. I genuinely believe that if you haven’t read any of her 60+ books she has published, then you are seriously missing out! 10 years after I read her debut she is still my absolute favourite and I love her more than any other author! (Sorry guys!) It took me so long to decide which of her books to feature in this post. I finally decided to go with her most recent success, From Blood and Ash! It’s a fantastic spicy romantasy! Janelle Stalder is another author that I have been reading for a long time! Since her debut in 2011 I have been such a huge fan of Janelle’s. She doesn’t have as big a profile as the other authors on this list do, but she deserves every recognition. She has something for everyone on her backlist: YA, NA and Adult! Sci-fi, Fantasy, Paranormal Romance and Contemporary! I decided to go with her most recent series, Balance on this list. It’s a fantastic paranormal romance with angels, fallen angels and demons. Brigid Kemmerer is another one I have read for years. I first discovered Brigid with her Elementals series back in 2014. I have absolutely loved seeing her becoming more and more popular over the year. I decided to go with my favourite book of hers on this list, Defy the Night! I absolutely loved everything about this book! It’s utterly fantastic! Paige Toon has stayed one of my all time favourite authors since the beginning. Before this blog existed, before I discovered fantasy, or YA or anything I fell in love with reading with Lucy in the Sky. It’s probably because of this book I even became a book lover and started this blog! I owe everything to this incredible and beautiful book! Lauren James is an author that I only discovered in the past 2-3 years but I have fallen head over heels in love with her work. I have read all of her books to date but my favourite remains the first one of hers I read. The Next Together is a gorgeous and thought-provoking story of soulmates who meet again in every lifetime. Any last but certainly not least is the incredible VE Schwab. VE Schwab’s books are known for being different and a little bit weird… and I bloody love them! Vicious was the first of her books that I read and I quickly became obsessed with this book and VE Schwab herself.
