From Goodreads:
To understand the monsters in the world, you have to get inside their heads. It’s a dangerous place to be, especially when you start to empathize and lose your own sense of morality. But that’s never happened to me…I’ve never felt conflicted on any case. Right is right and wrong is wrong. It’s simple. Black and white. There’s no such thing as a gray area. But fuck this case. I don’t even know what side I’m on anymore. I don’t understand how this town can continue to function without breaking under the weight of all the lies they’ve spun and lived.
Every time I find a shard of truth, my gut twists, my heart beats faster, and I hate this place a little more. Every time I think I’ve heard the worst, another truth is dug up from the ashes of more burning lies. Worst of all, I don’t even know who to trust anymore. My head is all messed up. I pride myself on being impossible to fool. I’m an expert at knowing when someone is lying to me. I never believed in being blinded by love…until Lana.
The Mindf*ck series is fast becoming a favourite of mine. I cannot put it down, and I couldn’t wait to dig in to All the Lies and see what was going to happen next for Lana and Logan. Honestly, shit starts to get real in this one. We are getting closer and closer to Lana’s endgame and I am here for it!!!
As Lana and Logan both end up in Lana’s hometown, she has to try and complete her kill list, while trying to keep the FBI and Logan from finding out she is the Scarlet Angel. As always, I am rooting for Lana 100% but I am also rooting for Logan to find out and care more about what she had done to her and be there for her regardless. That is my one hope for the rest of this series. In this one I started getting scared because it’s all starting to tie together and come to its conclusion.
This one was definitely the most heartbreaking so far. We finally find out the full truth about what happened to Lana on that fateful night when she was 16… and it’s messed up and heartbreaking and so, so much worse than I ever could have imagined. One thing I adored in this one, is how the FBI even start turning towards the killers point of view and are more focusing on finding out what the hell the town has been hiding for all these years!
I loved every second of All The Lies and once again, it left me reeling. I cannot wait to dive in to the final novella of this series and see how it all ends for Lana. I’m sat on the edge of my seat, praying she gets revenge and finally gets her closure after all that has happened to her! I can’t wait see this shitty town go down!
“Fate is a fucking cold-hearted bitch, but everything has a purpose.”
